What am I looking for?

I am grateful for any offer of a gift. I’m often asked if I need anything. Each time it’s been a nudge to create a gifts page. So here it is with a few acknowledgments of things I do not accept that are commonly offered. 

If you wish to support my journey in a way that goes beyond my services, here are some things I’ve been looking for.

Please reach out to me before purchasing them to make sure they weren’t already received and that I will be at the right location to pick them up. My general mailing address is below. I can usually find drop locations with friends, family, or temporary boxes in other cities.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are always welcome for various places. If it’s not on this list, please reach out first. In particular, I use:

Smaller Physical Items

I’m working towards these items right now. It’s actually been hard putting together this list as I live so simply. If you find anything on your journey you think would be useful, let me know. Many of the gifts people have sent were things I didn’t think of until they offered. 

Anything with lithium batteries might not be shippable to my location unless it’s an Amazon order to Whole Foods due to shipping restrictions on PO Boxes.

  • rechargeable lithium battery portable cd player (then I’ll create a list of cds)
  • rechargeable booklight, preferably a black one. 
  • some sort of cool extraterrestrial hair ties now that my hair is getting long
  • Anker portable lithium battery, very particular about that brand since it’s been trustworthy
  • Apple headphones, the white ones with the cords, think they are called Earpods with the lightning connector
  • LifeProof FRE Series Waterproof Case for iPhone 13 Pro Max - preferably black
  • Binoculars

Books I’m looking for. If you buy used, look for no water damage or mold.

New DVDs or used without scratches (not bluray, can’t play blurays) - Mostly Miyazaki Movies - Open to other animated recommendations as long as they aren’t singalong movies:

Other stuff

  • Food is great… however I’m not always available for my mail. So always check first as anything you send might sit in the post office box for 3 months. I’m open to things like pantry items and such. If you ever want to do something like that, just let me know.
  • Solar power kits like Jackeries and such or a full solar kit or parts to help me build one out.
  • In the case someone ever wants to get rid of a van… let me know.
  • Tips are always welcome.

A few don’ts for gifts

  • I appreciate all of the thought into homemade gifts. Please ask first. I used to accept them when I had the apartment, now that I live in my car, I’m short on space. 
  • Spiritual readings, spiritual books, anything spiritual is not a good gift for me as I don’t use those tools anymore.
