Shooting Yoga Fire, It's Part of Your Empathic Nature

If you’re like me, you goofed off a lot as a kid in high school, in college, and even now. The goofing off never stops. In college, we created a game called “Yoga Fire”. Well, less of a game, and more of a random act of body contortion while pretending to shoot balls of fire from our palms.

Walking around campus, we’d yell, “Yoga fire!”

That prompted both parties involved to take a stance, usually a martial arts stance, and pretend to form a ball of fire in their hands. When the ball formed, we’d shoot it at the other person like you often see in video games. Ball after ball of yoga fire would explode through the campus, burning down the buildings in our creative imaginations. The first one to land a disastrous hit against the other became the victor. They won… Well, nothing. Nobody won. Not even the college who let us fools onto the campus. We won the entertainment inside our mind.

What if yoga fire was real?

What my friends didn’t understand was that I could manipulate energy with my hands. College is where I learned the basics of energy manipulation. It came to me overnight, probably after reading a book on pseudoscientific ancient archeology like Graham Hancock’s Fingerprints of the Gods. This is the book that spawned a fascination with ancient cultures, one verified when reading his investigative work. My friends thought I was crazy. I get it. When you’re looking at someone telling you they can form a baseball of energy in their hands, you tend to question their reality if you can’t experience it as well. Add on the sudden appearance of totem animals walking around rooms, spiritual guides popping in, dead people giving messages, and the other things that come with intuitive journeys, and their experience of questioning my reality is given a new meaning since they couldn’t experience that reality themselves.

I could create yoga fire.

We stood together, pretending to manipulate energy. They didn’t realize I could actually manipulate the energy in my own hands, an energy of peace and love. Even now, I doubt those same people would believe much of my experience after college or the last few years.

Do you ever feel a tingle in your fingers? Have you felt energy pass from hand to hand?

If you focus your mind, you can feel a ball of your own energy form between your hands. It takes practice. A lot of focus may be required if you’ve never experienced it before. This is how I learned energy manipulation to start my intuitive journey. I’d create the ball. As it sat, I’d let it push against my fingers. Then I collapse them against each other and absorb the energy back into my body. At times, I’d send it out into the world to bring love and light. If you feel those tingles, you may be experiencing the first stages of yoga fire! There’s more to come. The more you work with energy manipulation, the easier other facets of consciousness will become. You’ll be able to help heal other beings through practices like Reiki. You may be called to help heal and strengthen souls, work I do on a weekly basis. That energy manipulation can heal fields drained of energy as forest fires consumed them. There are many things our energetic abilities will allow us to do. First, we have to accept those abilities and awaken our intuition. Once that happens, our guides will bring our teachers, our partners, and our tasks to us. Most importantly, have fun on your journey. Enjoy it! Practice yoga fire if you have to, but don’t actually burn anything down.
